"I'm Charlène Damus
I was born in the neighborhoods, between the looks
of my older brothers and the skillful hands of my mother.
I grew up learning that dignity is something you wear.
And that clothing is more than a style:
It is a language, a cry, an armor, a tribute.
I founded CDamsLab for this:
to create a free space, between textile art and social awareness.
A space that doesn't follow fashion:
he twists it, he questions it, he transforms it.
CDamsLab is the alliance of digital and identity.
A studio that I thought of as a living house.
A place where technology does not erase the human.
Where digital is not an end, but a bridge
towards more diversity, more listening, more future.
I don't create to please,
I create to make place.
To other stories,
other bodies,
other ways of existing.
I support those who want
Thinking about fashion differently.
I co-build collections alongside them.
I guide them in structuring, modeling, choices of shapes and meanings.
And I transmit my vision, my tools, my methods – from 3D design to prototyping.
Because creation is not kept: it is shared, it is taught, it is opened up.
For a long time I believed that I had to fit in with the norms.
Today I'm redrawing them.
I put my tools at the service of a fashion that speaks the truth.
Which does not erase the differences.
Who celebrates them.
